The first thing that you may want to try is being a caddy. The skills required for this type of golf job is having the ability to figure out yardages and learning how to read greens. You probably won't make a whole lot of money doing this if you are new to it, but a standard caddy can make around $20 a round. If you have more skills you could earn as high as $100 per round per bag that you carry. If you carry 2 bags you can make some pretty good money.

If you have skills and are certified you could give lessons. You could then set your own hours, choose your clientele, and set your own rates. If you do not possess certification, you could always look into going to school to learn how to be a golf instructor.

Another idea is if you are good at writing, you could write a golf book or start a golf blog offering tips and advice for golfers. If you start a website or blog, you could put affiliate ads on your site selling products, or you could use pay-per-click ads in which you would get paid each time someone clicks on one of your ads.

You could also create how-to videos involving golf. Or, if you have audio/video knowledge, you could contact a local golf professional and see if they would like to have you create a video using their knowledge and skills. You could charge a nice fee for that and the professional would get additional exposure from it.
